Letia Belendia Edmonson

With hearts full of Love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Belendia Edmonson, age 73, of Sylacauga, AL. She was born on November 10, 1952 to her late mother Nellie Waites and father Amos Waites. She passed away July 20, 2026 at Grandview Medical Center.

She loved her family and was always wanting to help others. She had a loving smile that would make you laugh and smile. She had a heart of gold but could be sassy.

She was preceded in death by her three brothers Sam, Joey, and WIley Waites.

She will truly be missed by her two sons Eric Edmonson (Christy) and Mark Edmonson (Kim), sisters Nellevin Edmonson, Janet Akin, and Alicia Crew, four grandchildren Katie, Konnor, Lily, and Baileigh, and one great grandchild Brayden.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, North Chapel, 1315 Talladega Hwy, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150.

A Funeral Service will follow on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 10:00 am at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, North Chapel, 1315 Talladega Hwy, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150. The services will be officiated by Rev. John Limbaugh.
