Lillian G Prater

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, W.R. Prater; her son, Johnny Prater; her parents, Lawrence and Hattie Green; her brother, Jack Green; and her sister, Martell Green Pruitt. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Prater Seale (Jim); her son, William M. (Bill) Prater (Beverly); and her daughter-in-law, Anne Prater; her sister, Joyce Chandler; her grandchildren, Brian Seale (Stephanie), Melinda Seale Simmons (David), and Lacey Prater Nelson (Chris), and her great grandchildren Joy Simmons, Emily Simmons, Baileigh Seale, and Austin Nelson. Lillian also leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins to cherish her memory.

Lillian was a long-time member of Weogufka Second Baptist Church, and was the oldest member.

A graveside service will be held at Weogufka Second Baptist Church cemetery Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Danny Bynum officiating. Visitation will precede the service at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lillian's memory may be made to Women's Ministries at Weogufka Second Baptist Church.
