Lillie Ruth Matson, age 86 of Randolph, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 6 at 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Odena Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Matson; brothers, Pete Cook and J.S. Cook. A large part of her life was with her husband in the military. She enjoyed being retired and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a quilt maker and enjoyed painting.
She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Phillips (Don), Connie Watts (Allen), Patricia Anderson (Jeff), and Jenny Smith (Richard); sister, Louise Sims (Luther); 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
