Lois "Veleta" (Ogle) McDaniel

Veleta is survived by her grandson, Eric "Bubba" Bryant; granddaughter, Loren Bryant; son-in-law, Morris Gene Bryant; her sisters Glenda Lee and Dorothy Culpepper (Danny), her sister-in-law Jamell Hickman (Jeff), her sister-in-law Glenda Jane Robinson (Danny), her sister-in-law Carol Heath (Larry Blankenship) and her brother-in-law Allen "Rocky" McDaniel (Linda).

She is preceded in death by her husband, David A. McDaniel and daughter, Davida Bryant.

A visitation for Veleta will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Eric Franklin officiating.

Veleta will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Day Johnson, Bo Johnson, Rusty Mayfield, Roger Martin, Tim Warren, Tim Griffiths, Dane Goodwin and Nick Potts.
