Funeral services for Lola Mae Bates Dennis, age 90 of Sylacauga, will be Friday, September 24, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dale Abrams and Rev. Tommy Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.
She passed away September 22, 2021 at Compassus Hospice. Lola is survived by her husband, Jerome Dennis; daughters, Seretha Sprayberry (Kerry) and Vanessa Harris (Robert); grandchildren, Russell Hathcock (Erin), Ryan Hathcock (Elizabeth), Nick Hathcock (Emily), Teresa Fisher (Chris), Jacob Harris; Tanya Ingram (Richie), Lindsay Cross (Neal), and Josh Sprayberry (Heather), 16 great-grandchildren and sister, Pat Avery (Jimmy) of Alexander City. She is preceded in death by brother, Mosie Earl Bates and sisters, Frances Connell and Mavis Talbot.
