Louise Wheeler WakefieldSylacauga, AL - Funeral services for Louise Wheeler Wakefield, 89, will be Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Lewis Archer officiating.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.Mrs. Wakefield died Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.  She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and Christian Women’s Club.  She is survived by her husband of 59 years, R C Wakefield of Sylacauga, daughter, Marsha Wakefield of Birmingham, sons, Grady Steven Wakefield, wife Robbin of Huntsville and Robert Douglas Wakefield, wife Carol Beth of Denton, TX, sisters, Beatrice Melton, husband Reuben of Leeds, AL and Reideth Horner of Thomasville, GA, brother, Kenneth Wheeler, wife Vicki of Goshen, IN, brother-in-law, Grady Milton Wakefield, wife Ruth of Wedowee, AL sisters-in-law, Wanda Wheeler of Trussville, AL and Juanice Wheeler of Birmingham, 5 grandchildren, Grant, Joel, Andrew, Ross and Alex. Visitation will be Wednesday February 16, 2011 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.Family will accept flowers or contribution may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Sylacauga, 105 East Spring Street, Sylacauga, AL 35150.Hope Sunday School Class at First Untimed Methodist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
