Margaret Ann Trussell Baird

Alpine, AL - Funeral service for Margaret Ann Trussell Baird, 69, will be Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Bobby Powell and Bro. Brian Jones officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mrs. Baird passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at her residence and was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Marie Trussell and her son, Steven Edward Baird. Mrs. Baird had retired from Blue Bell Creameries with 15 years of service and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Sylacauga. She loved her church family and was faithful to her Lord and Savior. Mrs. Baird was known for her love to laugh and for having fun with her friends. She loved to shop, travel, and she also loved camping at Wind Creek with her family and friends. Mrs. Baird was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dalton Baird; two daughters, Sherry Hogan husband Joe and Gina Franklin husband Eric; brother, Charles Ray Trussell wife Donna; three granddaughters, Kayla Hogan, Chloe Franklin, and Shandy Franklin; and a grandson, Devin Franklin.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Trussell, Devin Franklin, Brian Collins, Mike Jones, Larry Baird, Chandler Collins, and Larry Connell.
