Margaret E Hurt passed on May 5, 2026, at the age of 98. Born February 1, 1928, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wood Hurt, and her mother, Willie Mae Pippin.

She is survived by Ridgely Hurt, Eric Hurt, Brandon Hurt (Paula), and Michelle Wright, along with her grandchildren, Joshua Hurt (Christina) and Aaron Hurt, and 2 great grandchildren.

She was laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
