She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Allen, and her sister, Virgie Mae King. She is survived by numerous cousins.
She was a member of Cattle Women of Coosa County, Christian Women’s Club, Daughters of American Revolution, Futurism of the Year 2013 Woodmen of the World. She volunteered for 7 years for Weogufka Center and B.B. Comer Library and also Sylacauga Nutrition Center.
A visitation will be held at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, located at 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama, 35150, on February 25, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location in the Chapel at 2:00 pm.
Her final resting place will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, located at 1501 Talladega Highway, Sylacauga.
