RIP Mary!

Mary you taught me so much! Your passion and zeal for Jesus and environmental activism will never be forgotten. Sylacauga lost a Angel but you became one. I know you were tired and your fight was remarkable and lasted longer than anyone could have expected. I will miss your passion and wisdom. RIP my friend your watch is over.

I lived next to Mary when I first came to Sylacauga. She always had a smile and friendly words. Such a beautiful soul that will be missed by many.

I became friends with this beautiful family in 2009. It was on FB, but they were always in my heart. Mary’s Mom, Jennie is the sweetest friend. I’ve kept up with all of them for all these years. We made plans to come & meet sweet Mary & Jennie, but covid 19 stopped that. I promised Mary that I would meet her Mom & I intend to keep that promise Mary had a heart bigger than life itself. She lived her life to the fullest. She loved her Jesus & witnessed to many. This beautiful girl touched my heart so much. We all need to live like she did. She enjoyed every moment. She fought so hard & defied all odds. Her little body was tired & it was time for her to get a healthy one with her Jesus. You were an inspiration to us all , Mary. Jennie, you will hug your beautiful daughter again . God Bless you all.

I will miss her with all of my heart. Fly high sweet angel....fly high high. One sweet day we'll see each other again.

Jennie , Janice and family , I remember the very first time I meet Mary . She was climbing the Apple tree . I thought oh lord that child is gonna fall and get hurt . Mary wasn’t just a beautiful young woman on the outside . She was beautiful on the inside to . Her energy and zest for life knew no boundaries. I am honored to have known such a beautiful soul . To know Mary was to love her and to be loved by her .
Y’all are in my thoughts and prayers . Sending my love to you all
