Mrs. Horton died Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to everyone. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She loved Jesus and God.She is survived by her sons, Joseph Oliver Burnette, wife Kim, Johnny W. Burnette and Dewey W. Burnette; daughters, Mary Jo Burnette, Sandra F. Dickinson and Carrie A. McDonald, husband Marvin; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
