Mary Elizabeth MimsSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Mary Elizabeth Mims, 78, will be Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. David  Mims officiating.  Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Childersburg, AL.Miss Mims died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at her residence.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Eula Mims; sister, Ruby Aldridge and brother, James Charles Mims.  She retired after several years with the Fayetteville School System.  She was a beloved aunt and we will miss you very much.She is survived by her sisters, Betty Parrish and Bobbye Hightower and a host of nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be Saturday November 23, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.The family will accept flowers or contributions may be made to the Mary Mims Scholarship Fund at Fayetteville School.Pallbearers will be Brandon Prince, Bradley Prince, Matthew Gaither, Jamie Aldridge, Ricky Gaither and John Parrish.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
