Michael Glen Frost

Sylacauga, AL. - Michael Glen Frost, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Michael was born in Talladega, Alabama to Shirley Mae Hurst and Wilburn Frost Jr.

Michael is survived by his wife, Teresa Allen Frost; children, Emily Suzanne Locke, William Bradley Locke; grandchildren, Susannah Eryn Rice, William Daniel Rice; mother-in-law, Lillie Mae Allen; siblings, Cynthia Collins (Jimmy), Jackie Tetherow (Brian), Randy Benefield (Cindy), Marcia McMahanan (Mike); blended mother, Eloise Gillispie; sister-in-law, Cynthia Allen and sister-in-law, Linda Fae Allen; nieces, Kelcey Collins, Jillian Knight; great niece, Hagen Knight, great nephew, Luke Knight and his fur baby, Ranger Dale Frost.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn Frost Jr. and Shirley Mae Hurst; sister-in-law, Elaine Joiner; and blended father, Ed Hurst.

He was the pastor of Papertown Baptist Church for 20 years and loved his congregation with all his heart. He loved hunting, fishing and woodworking. Mike would go above and beyond for his family. He was a very Godly man, was loved by many and never met a stranger.

A visitation for Michael will be held Friday, November 1, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Stone and Bro. Mark Deason officiating.

Michael will be laid to rest in Tallasahatchie Cemetery, 3332 Tallasahatchie Rd, Alpine, Alabama.

Serving as pallbearers are Randy Benefield, Jonathan McRaney, Luke Mizzell, Richard Crawford, Jeff Bearden and Randy Fallon. Honorary pallbearers will be Vachel Sims, Bradley Locke, Jimmy Collins, Mike McMahan and Ricky Bryant.
