I only just learned of Mike’s passing today (3/27/21) and it broke my heart upon hearing the memo read. I didn’t work directly with him, but I saw him every day, his locker was near mine. We spoke often and it always made me glad to talk to him. “Hey Mike!” “Hey Mike!” Mr. Murphy was a great guy and I’ll really miss him. Won’t ever be able to say “Hey Mike!” to him again.

I will be praying for your family, Mike.

We are his neighbors across the street. We moved here 1 year ago and from day one Mike was so nice and kind. Every trip to the mail box we would be greeted with a hi and how are you today. I still can't believe he is gone doesn't seem real with him not out and about in the yard or leaving in his car. Our prayers are with you all.

Precious memories of our dear friend, Michael, and the huge way he loved others! "We love because He first loved us." 1 John 4:19 Michael lived that verse well! Michael will always be the one our boys quote with his quick wit! Michael helped me teach Youth in Discipleship Training for a while at Westview so our older boys knew him then. The last visit we had in your home after David passed away, our younger boys really bonded with Michael. He will always be loved and remembered! Love, prayers, tears, and hugs for you in these days.
