The family will announce a memorial service at a later date.He enjoyed riding horses, fishing, playing pool with friends and camping. He worked for Local 91 as a pipe fitter and welder. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Mickey Armstrong and mother, Winifred (Winnie) Armstrong.He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Isom, (Thomas) of OK, Emily Armstrong, (Jake Payton) of Childersburg, Lindsay Armstrong, of Sylacauga, Crystal Smith (Dennis) of Vincent; brothers, Farin Ocamb of HI and Michael Armstrong of CA; sister, Daphane Perucca and Pam Scafidi both of CA; grandchildren, Serenity Isom, Autumn Isom, Tomi Annette Isom, Kelsey Smith, Hayden Smith, Shaylee Smith and Ariel Armstrong.
