Mildred L. Davenport, age 96 of Sylacauga, passed away Thursday, March 09, 2017 at Mountainview Lake Retirement Village. Graveside Services will be held Sunday March 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Lori Carden and Rev. James Haskins officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM Sunday at Curtis and Son North Chapel.
Mrs. Davenport is survived by her son Gene L. Davenport of Jackson, TN. , Grandchildren; Leesa Plexico,
Joey Plexico (Pam), Van Plexico (Ami), Pamela Davenport Graf (Jeff) and Deborah Davenport Leavitt (Derrick); 13 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren.
Mrs. Davenport is preceded in death by her husband Emmett Davenport and daughter, Annette Plexico.
The family would like to thank Mountainview Lake Retirement Village and Amedisys Hospice for their great care and love. The family will receive flowers or donations may be made to First United Methodist Church.
