Monroe (Bobby Joe) Wesson, Jr.Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Monroe (Bobby Joe) Wesson Jr., 76, will be Thursday, June 5, 2014, at 11:00 am at Radney-Smith Chapel with the Rev. Max Buttram officiating.  Burial will be in Fayetteville Cemetery.Mr. Wesson died Monday, June 2, 2014 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Ileen Wesson; son, Jimmy Wesson; parents, Monroe Wesson, Sr. and Linda Pullen Wesson; brothers, J.D. Wesson, Hershal Wesson, Harold Wesson and Raymond Wesson.He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and loved working on his farm.He is survived by son, Chuck Wesson and wife, Jamie, of Sylacauga; daughters, Linda Johnson and husband, Jerry, of Sylacauga; and Kathy Turney and husband, Frank, Jr. of Daleville; sisters, Jean Humphries of McKinney, TX;  Evelyn Coleman and husband, Donald, of Sylacauga; and Martha Vickers of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Taylor Wesson  Cheston Wesson, Peyton Wesson, Rusty Newton, Laura Kreisler and husband, Shaun, Colton Turney, Nicholas Turney, Whitney Stone and husband, Connor, and Clay Wesson; great-grandchildren, Addison Kreisler, Mollee Kreisler and Vann Stone.
