Kenneth Nelson GiddensChildersburg, AL - Funeral service for Mrs. Kenneth Nelson Giddens, 93, will be Friday, July 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home in Andalusia, AL with Bro. Lamar Russell officiating.  Burial will be in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery in Andalusia, AL.Mrs. Giddens died Monday, July 11, 2016 at Sylacauga Health & Rehab.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hubert Giddens, father and mother, G. L. & Mertice Nelson.  She graduated from Andalusia High School and was a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church in Andalusia.  She was a welder at the Mobile Ship Yards during WWII.She is survived by two daughters, Suzy Dozier of Falls Church, VA, Evelyn March husband Charles of Brookhaven, MS; two sons, James Terry Giddens wife Jacque of Dothan, AL, Kenneth Ray Giddens wife Janie of Childersburg, AL; sister, Bonnie Mae Allen of Andalusia, AL; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren Visitation will be Thursday July 14, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home and Friday July 15, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home in Andalusia.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL and Keahey Funeral Home in Andalusia, AL will direct the services.
