Nancy Rumsey Thornton

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Nancy Rumsey Thornton, 66, will be Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Tim Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Marble City Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mrs. Thornton died Monday, February 7, 2022 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett & Christine Rumsey.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Steve Thornton; two daughters, Raven & Drew Maddox, Jaime Thornton; son, Matt Thornton; brother, Brice & Carol Rumsey; and four grandchildren, Noah Maddox, Dylan Maddox, Shelby Maddox, and Sam Thornton.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
