Nathan had the biggest heart and soul, who loved others far more than himself. He especially loved and was equally loved by his four kids (cats): Damian, Mango, Gremlin and Porkchop.
He was extremely tech savvy, and was in the process of turning his skills, ambition, and love of technology into his career.
Nathan was an avid gamer, “PopCornCatFat”, who dominated on all gaming platforms ... .well, maybe not X-box! His love of music, reading, and the visual arts filled every aspect of his life: Twenty One Pilots, Legos, Harry Potter, an array of Art work from numerous Artists.
His heart was big! His humor, ridiculous comedic faces, and laughter came without warning constantly. He had the loudest personality that he used to make sure everyone around him was doubled over in laughter. Feeling good or bad, time with him guaranteed feeling even better. A frown would turn to a smile just being in his presence. You never knew what face he’d pull from where to make sure someone smiled.
He is survived by his father, Randy Roberts, his mother, Laura McGhar (Mark); Sisters: Heather Hendrix (Jimmy), Katlyn Roberts, Katie Wilson, Lexie Lett; Brothers: Jonathan Roberts (Tina), Justin Roberts (Katelin), David Walden; Step Sister: Kimberly Estes (Hunter), Step Brothers: Bo McGhar (Morgan) and Noah McGhar and a host of wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; Special Friend, Kaylyn Liner and mother, Cathy Liner; and a hoard of other family and friends who loved him. He is preceded in death by his Uncle Phillip, Arnold “PaPa” Roberts, Marshall “PaPa” Boone and Haedon Hughes.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, North Chapel, 1315 Talladega Hwy, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, on May 21, 2026, at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Personal Giving (nami.org) or the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention (afsp.org).
