Nellie Mildred BarnettChildersburg, AL - Funeral service for Nellie Mildred Barnett, 83, will be Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Clarence Denny officiating.  Burial will be in Kahatchee Cemetery in Childersburg, AL.Mrs. Barnett died Monday, July 18, 2016 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Barnett, daughter, Donna E. Lois Barnett, parents, J C and Martha Louise Vick, 4 sisters, Lena Mae Peoples, Elizabeth Ann Webber, Martha Faye Parker, and Francis Barnett, 2 brothers, John Calvin Vick, and James H Vick.  She was a member of Mt. Sharon Baptist Church.  Mrs. Barnett worked at Beaunit for 15 years and Avondale for 15 years.She is survived by daughter, Carolyn Pugh husband Jesse of Kahatchee; three granddaughters, Tracey Frost husband Richard, Deena York both of Kahatchee, Anita Simpson husband Jason of Sylacauga;and 5 great-grandchildren.Visitation will be Tuesday July 19, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
