Nettie Davis

Sylacauga, AL - Nettie L. Davis, 83, of Sylacauga, AL passed away at home on 21 August 2020.

She is survived by daughters Pamela Autrey of Gadsden, AL, Beverly Davis of Sylacauga, AL, Cheryl Davis of Sylacauga, AL and daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Julia Knott of Huntsville, AL. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband Joe K. Davis, Jr, son, Charles R. Davis and brother Kenneth Whaley. Nettie had 8 grandchildren; Christin Mathis, Andrew Spencer, Nicole Miller, Daniel Vest, Katy Bush, Allison Benton Gamble, Shelby Benton, and Morgan Benton; and 4 great grandchildren Dalton Mathis, Alikai Vest, and Nolan and Cameron Bush who she adored. She loved her Alabama Football and loved her country serving alongside her husband for 21 years in the United States Air Force.

In keeping with her nature and love for the military, one can honor her life by making a donation in her name to “Homes for Our Troops”.
