I first met Pat when we started first grade. We had to line up in alphabetical order so that always put me behind her. I always knew that I could be where I needed to be if I stayed close to where she was. We were friends from the start. Years later we laughed about me always being around and she laughed and said I was her first and only stalker. She was such a great friend to everyone. I know when walked through those gates with the angels and saw Jesus she was finally home and healed. Fly High sweet friend.

I have great memories of Pat in high school through our junior year. I stayed at her house several times for sleepovers & we rode the school bus together also .
She was fun to be around.

We shared a lot of great stories about family and friends. My sincerest sympathies go out for Terry and all the family. She will never be replaced in this world.

Heaven just gained another angel. Pat was beautiful and I am related and knew her parents through the Machen side of the family. Praying for everyone. Paula B. Rodgers (Lily Machen was my grandmother).

I have only known Pat for a short time through sharing our zeal for helping others. You know her passion for Ribbons for Hope. I called the contact number for the group and Pat answered. She shared with me that yes they were still having their fundraising projects. Her voice was so upbeat and happy that I was shocked when she told me that she was in the hospital. She only stopped talking when the nurse came in the room.
I feel honored to have known her.
As you heal from this so unexpected happening, my prayer is for you to be blessed with her positive attitude and her zeal for loving and helping others.
