Paul Wayne Goswick

Funeral service for Paul W. Goswick, 75, will be Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:30 am at Curtis & Son North Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Snyder and the Rev. Tim Green officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Goswick passed away December 31, 2013 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He is preceded in death by father, George Goswick; mother, Katie Bell Goswick; sisters, Betty Jean Osbourn and Helen Liveoak all of Sylacauga; grandson, Nathan Cook. He was a member of New Day Ministries, retired from the Alabama State Highway Dept. with 25 years of service. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Esther Goswick of Sylacauga; son, Michael W. Goswick; daughters, Donna Acklin and husband Curtis of Sylacauga; Paula Patterson and husband John of Sylacauga; sisters, Barbara Catchings and husband Neal; Shirley Pody and husband Cliff; Faye Britton and husband Jim; brother, Ralph Goswick and wife Linda; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2014 from 5 to 8 pm at Curtis and Son North Chapel. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Stacey Goswick, Matt Cook, Jonathan Patterson and Justin Robinson, son-in-laws, John Patterson and Curtis Acklin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Goswick and Jeff Goswick. The family would like to thank the ICU Medical Staff for their loving care and a very special thank you to Doctors Emily Rehberg and Clifton Garris.
