Peggy M. Chandler

Peggy is survived by her children, Randy Chandler (Debbie), Gary Chandler, and Tam Morris (Danny). Her grandchildren include Adam Chandler, Laura Weston (Chris), Emily Hines (Chris), Jacob Morris (Dorothee), Amy Stier (Jody), Aaron Morris (Lisa), Harrison Chandler, and Andrew Morris (Laura). Peggy is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Gabby Chandler, Elias Morris, Corbin Hines, Miriam Morris, Clara Jay Weston, Addie Mae Morris, Hannah Morris, Lilly Weston, Amanda Grace Hines, Madeline Morris, and Tommy Morris. Her brothers, Bob Machen (June) and John Machen, also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Chandler, and her parents, Jacob and Grace Machen.

Visitation will be held at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, North Chapel, located at 1315 Talladega Hwy, Sylacauga, Alabama, on November 29, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 12:00 pm.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Morris, Aaron Morris, Andrew Morris, Chris Hines, Chris Weston, Adam Chandler, Harrison Chandler, and Corbin Hines.

Peggy will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sylacauga First Church of the Nazarene.
