

Childersburg, AL - Funeral service for Philip T. Stewart Sr., 78, will be Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Harpersville with Bro. Zane Smith and Bro. Jeff Adams officiating.
Mr. Stewart passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Haskell Stewart; mother, Vivian Stewart; son, "Buzzy" Phillip T Stewart, Jr.; and his sister, Edna Earl Stewart Dye. Mr. Stewart was a welder, maintenance, and mechanic at the Kimberly Clark Paper mill for over 38 years.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Roberson Stewart; two sons, Shane Stewart wife Kim and Todd Stewart wife Debbie; four grandchildren, Trae Stewart, Allison Stewart, William Stewart, and Lillian Stewart; two great-grandchildren; three step-sons, Corey Stockdale, Tony Wideman, and Timmy Wideman; 5 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; loving pets, Bull, Lily, Snoopy, and Tom; many friends; and his beloved church family.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Harpersville.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations to be made to Providence Baptist Church.
