Rachael McKee Birchfield WenkBirmingham, AL - Funeral service for Rachael McKee Birchfield Wenk, 35, will be Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Ashley Owensby officiating.  Burial will be in Talladega Springs Cemetery in Talladega Springs, AL.Mrs. Wenk died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at her residence.  She was preceded in death by her father, Randy McKee; sister, Masie Knight; grandparents, Arnold Ed Royal, Clorene Royal Taylor, Mary Ann McKee and Preston Howard McKee.She is survived by her husband, Joseph Wenk of Hoover, AL; daughter, Railey B. Smelley of Woodstock, GA; sons, William Gabriel Birchfield and Christopher Kye Birchfield both of Oklahoma; step-sons, Joseph Lee Anthony Wenk and Jacob Nicholas Wenk both of Florida; mother, Cindy M. Alford of Sylacauga; father,  Papa Rock Alford of Sylacauga; brothers, Randal Shane McKee of Fayetteville and Christopher Colt McKee of Sylacauga; step-mother, Connie (Nanny Bug) Thornburg; and several member of her extended family. Visitation will be Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be Chase Ward, Nick Hethcock, Payton McKee, Jacob Knight, Jeremy Owens, Chris Buechler and C.J.
