Raymond Wayne Hobbs

Raymond is survived by his wife, Christina Clifton Hobbs; his brothers, Lavert Major Hobbs and Ronald Gene Hobbs (Sue); sister in law, Robbie (Mark); his children, Déserée Hobbs Herrington (Ryan) and Corey Amica Hobbs; his grandchildren, Leah Herrington and Joseph Herrington; his nieces and nephews, Brandie (Tim), Kaila, Ambra (Michael), Kendall (Breyon), Conner (Bailey), Alexis (Levi), River, Luka, Jacob, Daniel, Ryann (Treston), Taylor, Justin, Karli, Casey, Ella, Alina, Riley, Braylen, Rhonda (Chris), Carrie (Jeff), Holley (Adam), Daniel (Randy Caroline), Thomas (Elisabeth), Jessica (Mason), Addison, Avery, Kingsley, Hazel Mae, Christie Jean, Erin, Caroline, Alex, David and Jason.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Lavert William “BeBe” Hobbs and Frances Gowers “Cille” Hobbs.

Forever in Our Hearts!

Though Raymond may be gone from our sight,

He will never be gone from our hearts.

His strength inspired us. His laughter lifted us. And his love surrounded us.

A life that was truly a blessing. A memory we will always treasure.

He is loved beyond words. And missed beyond measure.

A life so beautifully lived. A heart so deeply loved.

A visitation for Raymond will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 N. Elm Ave, Sylacauga, AL 35150, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with Bro. Matt Hilyer officiating.

Raymond will be laid to rest in Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Raymond's memory may be made to Sylacauga Animal Shelter, 41 Shelter Lane, Sylacauga, Alabama 35151.
