Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Uliss, Robert and Lawrence Chappell and sister Emma Kate Chappell Davenport.
Bobbie is survived by her husband of 74 years Elvin "Buddy" Sanders; son Mark (Ivy Dean) Sanders of Sylacauga, AL; daughter Paula (Speedy) Bennett of Sylacauga, AL; grandchildren Reese (Michelle) Jacobs of Cartersville, GA and Mindy Sanders (Shane Champion) of Pelham, AL; great grandsons Connor and Owen Jacobs; nieces and nephews, step grandsons Tim and Jason Taylor of Alexander City, AL; six step great grandchildren and four step great great grandchildren.
Bobbie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She truly loved her family and spending time with them. Bobbie was a member of oldfield United Methodist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir and was active in United Methodist Women. Bobbie was a feisty lady with a larger than life personality; she was known by many and loved by all, we will miss her very much.
Visitation will be held at Curtis and Son Funeral Home Sylacauga, AL on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 12-1 pm. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1 pm with Rev. Rodney Frost officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
