
Rev. Edward Barnes "Bud" LedlowNovember 9, 1926 - February 25, 2016 Ledlow, Edward “(Bud)†Barnes, 89, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away naturally at Crowne Health Care of Greenville on February 25, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Odessa Matson Ledlow, two daughters, Rhonda Bentley (Frank) and Donna Ledlow Miller (Larry), 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, George Allen Ledlow, and mother, Hattie Layton Ledlow, and his eighteen brothers and sisters. Brother Ledlow was an ordained minister in the Free Will Baptist Church denomination for 60 years. During his years of ministry Brother Ledlow served as pastor to multiple Free Will Baptist churches in Alabama and worked with the FWB Home Mission Board in Nashville, Tennessee. After retiring from full time ministry he served as Associate Pastor at First Free Will Baptist Church of Sylacauga, AL for nearly 20 years. The Ledlows relocated to Greenville, Alabama in 2012 after the state of Brother Ledlow’s health began declining. The funeral service for Brother Ledlow will be held at the First Free Will Baptist Church of Sylacauga, Alabama, Monday February 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Harris and Dr. Wayne McDaniel officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 - 2:00 PM at the church. He will be laid to rest at the Oak Hill Cemetery, in Talladega, Alabama, with Radney Smith Funeral Home of Sylacauga directing.
