Rhonda Morton Matson

Sylacauga, AL. - Rhonda Morton Matson, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Rhonda is survived by her son, James L. Deason (Kristal); daughter, Kristi Thompson (Steve); brother, Randy Morton; sisters, Gwen Renn (Kirk), Tinkie Stewart (Mike), Darla Brasher (James); grandchildren, Ben Thompson, Todd Thompson, Savannah Deason, Natalee Deason, Kylie Deason; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her son, Willie T. Deason; and parents, Ellis and Faye Morton.

A visitation for Rhonda will be held Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, followed by a funeral service at 2:30 p.m. with Bro. Robert Curtis and Bro. Roger Singleton officiating.

Rhonda will be laid to rest in Greenhill Cemetery, 7447 Old Sylacauga Hwy, Childersburg, AL 35044.
