Robert "Bob" Arlen MorrisSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Robert "Bob" Arlen Morris, 76, will be Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Todd Reaves officiating.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.Mr. Morris died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.  Mr. Morris was retired from Sylacauga Utility Board after 38 years of service.  He was responsible for the construction of the Earl Ham treatment plant and the water tank in the center of Sylacauga.  He was a member of the Sylacauga Masonic Lodge for a number of years.  Mr. Morris attended Mignon Baptist Church.  He was also an avid fisherman.He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jeanette Smith Morris of Sylacauga, son, Rick Morris, wife Trudy of Atlanta, GA;  brother, Dr. Harold Jack Morris of Starkville, MS, and granddaughter, Morgan Morris of Atlanta, GA. Visitation will be Friday April 22, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.Pallbearers will be John Blackmon, Dan Edwards, Ricky Cleveland, Doug Pope, Wade Bain, David McMurphy, Barry Boan and Jerry Gordon.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Sylacauga High School class of 1952, former co-workers of the Sylacauga Utilities Board, Deacons of Mignon Baptist Church, Van Wilkins, Glenn Hannigan, Hub Wyatt, Steve Levinson and L.C.
