Robert E. PateGoodwater, AL - Funeral service for Robert E. Pate, 83, will be Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Danny Posey officiating.  Burial will be in Parkdale Cemetery in Goodwater, AL .Mr. Pate died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Bill Nichols Veterans Home.   He was preceded in death by wife, Willodean Pate, sister, Sue Hosey and nephew, Timothy Williams.  He loved to tinker on lawn mowers and was an avid gardener.  Mr. Pate was a member of Parkdale Methodist Church.He is survived by niece, Tammy Bowling husband Marvin of Childersburg, great-nieces, Crystal Williams of Goodwater and Ashley Upton husband Robert of Childersburg, niece, Kimberly Weatherly husband Brian of Jackson, GA and nephews, Donny Hosey and Mike Hosey wife Joyce both of Jackson, Ga and other nieces and nephews.
