Rodger was born in Sylacauga to David and Leola Lewis.
He worked for the City of Childersburg for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Lewis, mother, Leola Lewis, brother, Charles Lewis and sister, Kathy Prouse.
He is survived by his sister, Sherry Ricks (Rodney), brother, Tommy Lewis (Paula), special nephew, C.J. Hill, four nephews, five nieces and a host of other family members and numerous friends.
