Mr. Sammie Delbert Holmes age 63 of Childersburg passed away on March 3, 2011 at Brookwood Medical Center. Funeral Services for Mr. Holmes will be on Monday March 7, 2011 at The Full Gospel Tabernacle Church at 11:00AM. Burial will be in Marble Valley Cemetery. Survivors are Wife of Twenty-Three years; Bonnie Nickolson Holmes of Childersburg, Al; Daughters: Shelly (Leslie) Smith of Pell City, Daphney (William) Herrell of Lineville; Sons; Jason Paul (Amy) Robinson of Coosa County, Phillip W. (Donna) Willis of Shreveport, La, Zachary S. Robinson of Childersburg, Al. Sister: Nancy (Kenny) Deavers of Birmingham, Al; Brother: Jimmy Holmes of Birmingham, Al. Brother-in-law and best friend: Lester (Gayle) Nickolson of Fayetteville: Sister-in-law: Gaynelle (Jimmy) Butler of Sylacauga, Al. Seventeen Grandchildren. Pallbearers are Freddy Browning, Waynie McRea, Jeff McRea, Hubert Gann, Chris Sherbert, Byran Sherbert. Mr. Holmes was preceded in death by his son; Barrie Neal Holmes and parents; James Cecil and Ann Holmes. Curtis and Son North Chapel will direct the service.
