Serafino (Sal) BasiloneSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Serafino (Sal) Basilone, 67, will be Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Father Thomas Woods officiating.  Burial will be at McCormick Cemetery in Dora, AL.Mr. Basilone died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at his residence.  He was a truck driver for 50 years.  Mr. Basilone was of Catholic faith.  He was a collector of Elvis and Nascar memorabilia. He is survived by his wife, Ruth A. Smith-Basilone; daughters, Jasmun Basilone Simpson, husband Tyler and Christian Perry; sons, Walter Bond, Jr., wife Tamara, Kendall Perry, wife Brandie; grandchildren, JR and James Ingram, Elliseonna Simpson, Brittany Rose Bond and many other grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister, Joann Seybold, husband Jerry; brother-in-law, Gene Smith, wife Marge; sister-in-law, Dale P. Waid; brother, Joe Bond, wife Valerie and his beloved pet, Snowflake.
