Shelva Jean Brown

She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Jerry Brown; her children, Keith Brown (Carleen), Kenny Brown (Carla), Donna Brown (Tommy), and Kevin Brown; her 11 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, B.F. and Annie Ruth Brown; and her brother, Grover Cleveland Brown.

Shelva was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother; as well as an active member of Marble City Baptist Church.

A visitation will be held on May 27, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, AL 35150. The Funeral Service will be held on May 28, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Radney-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, AL 35150, with the committal service following at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 1501 Talladega Hwy, Sylacauga. Brother Mac McCaleb will be officiating the services.

Pallbearers will be AJ Tubbs, Josh Brown, Stephen Brown, Zach Brown, Jaycob Toney, Jackson Toney, and Bentley Reynolds; with the Fellowship Sunday School Class serving as honorary pallbearers.

All expressions of sympathy, including flowers and honorary donations to Marble City Baptist Church in her memory, are equally welcome and deeply appreciated by the family.
