Sherra Delores "Sister" Shell HoneycuttSylacauga, AL - Sherra Delores "Sister" Shell Honeycutt, 78, of Sylacauga passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 1, 2014.  "Sister" was born in Sylacauga on April 24, 1936.  She was Baptist by faith.  She loved her family and friends and always had a positive outlook on life.She is preceded in death by her husband A.J. Honeycutt, son Marty Honeycutt, parents, Robert and Mary Shell and step-daughter Caroline Thomas.Funeral services will be Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Eddie Forbus officiating.  Burial will be at Weogufka 2nd Baptist Cemetery in Weogufka, AL.She is survived by her brother, Billy Joe Shell, wife Lunease; sisters, Kay Martin, husband H.T. and Mary Ann Ballard, husband Harold; step-son, Jarrell Honeycutt, wife Sandra; stepdaughter, Debra Rixner, husband Bill; several nieces and nephews that loved her very much. Visitation will be Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.The family would like to give special thanks to Claudette and Stan Engelhart and the Staff and all her friends at Rosewood Manor.  Pallbearers will be Dwight Shell, Ronnie Shell, Jerome Crowe, Shawn Brown, Josh Shell and Billy Jacks.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
