Shirley Wood MilamChildersburg, AL - Memorial service for Shirley Wood Milam, 69, will be Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel.Mrs. Milam died Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Milam; parents, Johnny and Leota Wood; sisters, Katheryn (Sis) Northcutt and Billie Shelton; brothers, BoBo Wood and Jimmy Wood. She was a member of Logan Martin Church of Christ.   She was a loving mother who devoted her life to her children.  We can only hope to live as she prayed, “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”. She is survived by her son, Jeff Denty; daughters, Tammy Watkins and Mendy Milam; sisters, Gail Royals, Bobbie Alexander, Diane Green and Cindy Rogers; step-sons, Tim Milam and Terry Milam; grandchildren, Amanda Lynn, Tabitha Milam, Katie Watkins, Shawn Milam, Riley Watkins, Matt Milam, Taylor White, Jamie Milam, Seth White, Jason Milam, Heather Denty, Emma Denty and Cole Denty; great-grandchildren, Taylor King and Bella King and pet dogs, Sweet Pea and Rex.
