She is preceded in death by Bobby Gene Turney Sr., her husband of 47 years; son Gene Turney, granddaughter, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, two sister and three brothers.
She is survived by daughter, Sharon Delee, son Bobby Turney, Jr. (Tracy), daughter Rhonda Cooper (Bubba) along with 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and one beloved sister-in-law.
Shirley was a homemaker; in her later years she would sit with the elderly.
Shirley will have a Graveside service on July 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.
