You were my dad, no you are my dad. And i know we didn't get to spend much time together, i know we talked almost every night on the phone before you died and no one knew, but i love you. I have the picture you drew me hanging on my door, i have the stuff you was wearing when it happened in my closet. I remember waiting on you all night at the bus station in Birmingham, Alabama, you was coming down just to see me, and nanny said if you didn't come on the next one we would have to leave, you came. I can't help to think this was my fault. I was the reason you went to Alabama. You was planning a future for us in that house you bought and was designing it just for me, for us. I love you, I never got to say that to you. I never got to go to your funeral, I never got what I needed to say goodbye. I still think about the night I got told you passed away, it was so close to my birthday, i broke down because I found out about you and Grandpa Keeton on the same night, didn't even know he passed away.. until they said you didn't show up, and that's how I found out. Learning both of you were gone, even after him being gone for a week. I love you daddy. I miss you, and I know this is kinda long, but I never got to say goodbye to you, or see you. I miss you so much. Rest in peace, I hope one day you can be proud of me. <3      Your babygirl forever and always - Michelle. 

I'm glad I was able to know you and that you were there for my high school graduation.  I'll always miss you and remember you. I love you,  Uncle Steve.
