Steve Sims

Steve is survived by his wife, Laura Sims; his daughters Misty Barnes (Adam); and Angela Wilkins (Tandy); his grandchildren Katelyn Barnes, Rachael Barnes, Lindsey Barnes, Daniel, Jerry Wilkins, Evan Wilkins, Margaret Wilkins, and Hailey Wilkins; his brothers Mike Sims and David Sims; and his sister Janice Pittman.

Mr. Sims also leaves numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

Steve was preceded in death by his father Roy Sims and his mother Justine Sims; his infant brother Gary Charles Sims and his brother Roy Wayne Sims.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow the visitation.

His children and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Steve's memory may be made to Alabama School of Gospel Music: Betty Holcomb, 1140 County Rd. 837, Boaz, Alabama US.
