Sue B. Haynes

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Sue B. Haynes, 92, will be Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Pastor Mike Pearson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mrs. Haynes died Friday, September 1, 2017 at the Mountain View Lake Retirement Village. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. (Hoss) Haynes; parents, Susan Ava and Eddie Eugene Bentley; daughter, Sherrie O'Mary; daughter, Pamela Pearson; grandson, Pat Ferrell; grandson, Ramey Sumners; and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Haynes was a charter member of the Living Word Church in Sylacauga. She was the epitome of the Proverbs 31 woman. She loved to help and serve others, and lead many to Christ. Mrs. Haynes was also a Secretary Treasure for the Coosa Pines Recreation Association of Lake Logan Martin.

Mrs. Haynes was loved by all and never met a stranger; she will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Vickery and Jeanna (Dane) Sumners; son-in-law, Mike Pearson; nine grandchildren, Jim Ferrell, Jonathan O'Mary, Benjamin O'Mary, Jeremy O'Mary, Joshua O'Mary, Melissa Pearson Roberts, Stacey Sumners, Tangae Belter, and Mandi Luker; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
