Terry Wayne Thornton age 57 of Clay County died Thursday, January 26, 2017 at his residence. Services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017; 2:00PM at Weogufka Family Worship Center with the Reverend Tommy Thornton officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
He is survived by his wife; Melissa Thornton of Clay County; Children, Melissa R. Thornton of Clay County, Clint Thornton of Sylacauga and Terra Cote of Clay County; Mother, Bobbie J. Thornton of Sylacauga; Sisters, Sherry Machen of Alpine, Deborah Reynolds of Sylacauga, Teresa Caine
of Sylacauga and Tammy Ammons of Pelham; Grandchildren, Hope Ledbetter, Tyler Jacobs, Carlie Thornton, Thornton Cote and Jagger Cote.
Terry was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed.
