Thomas Clayton BarrettRockford, AL - Graveside service for Thomas Clayton Barrett, 64, will be Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Providence Baptist Cemetery with Bro. Paul Shaw officiating.  Mr. Barrett died Sunday, November 30, 2014 at his residence.  He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Clifton Barrett and mother, Marilyn Jean Barrett.  He loved his children and grandchildren.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter.  He loved the American Southwest.  Mr. Barrett was a member of Providence Baptist Church.  He was happiest when he was helping others.He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Barrett of Rockford, AL; sons, Daniel Barrett, wife Tanya and Drew Barrett both of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Alex Barrett, Bowen Barrett, Max Barrett all of Sylacauga, Violet Hofbauer of Portland, OR, Nicholas Randle and Haley Randle both of Helena, AL. Visitation will be Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.The family will accept flowers or contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Ireland Way, Birmingham, AL  35205; www.cancer.org in his memory.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
