

Rockford, AL - Graveside service for Thomas Ray Helms Sr., 70, will be Friday, January, 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile, AL. with Rev. Andy Dickson officiating. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
Mr. Helms died Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at his residence. He loved to play golf and was an avid antique collector. Mr. Helms loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him. He was a very compassionate and kind loving person who had a special love for people and when he saw a need he was the first to meet it. He fought the good fight of faith while battling eight cancers; yet was known always for his little cliché, "It's just another bump in the road". He's won this battle.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Diane M. Helms; mother-n-law, Doris Littleton; daughter, Melody Pemberton; two sons, Edward Andrew (Regan) Dickson, James Gregory Eubanks; granddaughter, Lacey Diane (Tony) Heath, grandson, Seth Wayne Pemberton, granddaughter, Karson Leigh Pemberton, grandson, Ethan Dickson, grandson, Austin Dickson, granddaughter, Megan Campbell Eubanks; great-granddaughter, Bryleigh Gabrielle Campbell; great-grandson, Azariah Kitai Campbell.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
