Tony Ray Sanders

Sylacauga, AL - Memorial service for Tony Ray Sanders, 61, will be Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Brown's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Harris and Bro. Bubba Collier officiating.

Mr. Sanders died Friday, August 3, 2018 at UAB in Birmingham, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sara Sanders and his sister Sandy Samples.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Sanders; son, Jeremy (Angel) Sanders; four daughters, Haley (Jake) Sanders, Misty (Joey) Hill, Ashley (Tyler) Sanders, and Hope (Chris) Nolen; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, David (Donna) Sanders and Alan (Deborah) Sanders; sister, Bettye Masters; second father, Jimmy (Judy) Steen; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Tony was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He enjoyed cooking out with his family, camping at the lake and Alabama football.  Tony was a devoted employee of Steen's wrecker Service for some 33 years responding to those in need of a tow day and night.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Brown's Chapel Church Building Fund at 69 Brown Chapel Loop, Sylacauga AL 35151.
