Mrs. Velma Opal Clark, age 81, of Sylacauga, passed away Thursday, March 18, at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga. She is survived by a son, Walter C. Hudgins (Drusilla) of Clanton, AL; a daughter, Marla J. Hudgins of Prattville, AL; two brothers, Stanley B. Pody and Thomas E. Pody of Weogufka, AL; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Clark will be held Friday, March 19th from 5-8PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 20th in the chapel with the Reverend Eddie Forbus officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
