Virgie Mae Bryant Barnes KingSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Virgie Mae Bryant Barnes King, 76, will be Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Wayne Henderson officiating.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.Mrs. King died Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James Otis Bryant and Dassie Mae Bryant, husband Alton Barnes, sister-in-law, Ruth Caldwell Lovorne and great grandchild, Anna Sue Roberts.  Mrs. King was pianist for Newsite Baptist Church, Village Street Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Weogufka.  She volunteered at Weogufka Center for 7 years.  She loved her family and was the sweetest wife and sister in the world.  Mrs. King was a great seamstress.She is survived by husband of 32 years, George King, sister, Faye Allen, step-son, Van King wife Rena, step-daughter, Sue King Hobbs husband Ronald, step-grandson, Zackery King, step-granddaughters, Rhonda Roberts husband Chris, Carrie Roberts husband Jeff and Holley Roberts husband Adam, step-great grandchildren, Jessica, Daniel, Thomas, Alex, Addison, Avery, Taylor and Bently, aunt, Ruby Leachman, brother-in-law, Lawrence King and a host of cousins. Visitation will be Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be Presley Boswell, Alan Hughes, Bob Black, Charles Bailey, Bronson Fausnight and Homer Hamilton.  Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Roberts, Jeff Roberts, Alex Roberts, Chris Roberts, Daniel Roberts and Thomas Roberts.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
