Wendell Phillip Rayfield

Funeral service for Wendell Phillip Rayfield, age 86, of Weogufka will be Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:30AM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. Keith Owensby officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10AM at the funeral home.

Mr. Rayfield Alabama passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lucas Rayfield, mother, Bertha Phillips Rayfield, wife, Ellen Rayfield and daughters, Karen Rayfield and Mary Jean Honeycutt.

He was retired from the US Army having served in Korea and Vietnam.

Survivors are his wife, Jean Rayfield, son, Edward Gardner, daughters, Teresa Rayfield (Lemond), Xantippe Matthews, Patricia DeLee, Brenda Robinson, brothers, E.J. Rayfield, Carlton Max Rayfield, 14 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Adam Honeycutt, Jeremy Honeycutt, Nick Cleveland, Terry Matthews, Ryan Hicks and Tom Hudgins.
